A digital (virtual, electronic or NFC) business card is a modern and sustainable alternative to traditionally printed cards. They are a cost-effective and environmentally conscious way to creatively share information with your clientele. 

The safety of NFC cards relies strongly on the platform used to create them. At 1Tap your data is our priority. Our Platform is not only safe, but our Cards are Password Protected. This means that is impossible for a Hacker to erase the contents of the card and replace it with their own. Your details and the details of your connections are safe and secure.

Near-field communication (NFC) is a set of wireless communication protocols that enables devices to exchange information when they are close to each other (1-10 centimetres).

The 1Tap business card model features NFC technology that enables instant sharing of contact details, products, and other services by tapping the card against any NFC-compatible smartphone. 

Most smartphones released in the year 2018-present are equipped with NFC capabilities. Some include:
 
- iPhone models XS, XR, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 (2018 and later)

-iPhone 8 and X with iOS 14 or later (released September 2020), with an additional step required to read NFC

-Samsung Galaxy series: S5, S6, S7, S20, S21, S22, and S23 (2015 and later), as well as Galaxy Notes from 2015 onwards

-Google Pixel series: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 (and later)

Note: If the phone is not equipped with NFC capabilities, use the phone to scan the QR code at the back of your 1tap card.

First, ensure that the iPhone is unlocked. The NFC antenna is located at the top of all iPhones. To establish a connection, tap the 1tap business card at the top edge of the iPhone (near the device's camera). The iPhone will read the information from the 1tap business card so it becomes accessible to the customer. 

In settings, ensure that the NFC reader is on. With the phone unlocked, tap the 1Tap business card on the back of the Android phone, usually in the centre near the camera area. The NFC antenna's location may slightly differ with each Android model. If the 1tap card is not immediately detected, try moving the card around on the back of the phone until a signal is registered.

With an additional fee of $400 JMD, you will be able to change or update any details on the digital aspect of the card.
